Scholarship for Syrian University Students in Jordan

Jusoor partners with Al-Quds College and its parent organization, Luminus Education, to provide full scholarships for Syrian refugee students in Jordan for a two-and-a-half year International Diploma program.

The Academic Program

The majority of Syrian students in Jordan have undergone the I’itilaf Tawjihi baccalaureate degree, which was not recognized by Jordanian universities in 2014. Therefore, the students must complete the International Diploma Program and obtain a recognized diploma, the Higher National Diploma (HND). This diploma will allow students to either bridge to further higher education or to enter the workforce.

The International Diploma program is accredited internationally by Pearson Edexcel, the largest accreditation body in the United Kingdom that is recognized by over 250 universities in 100 countries. The program is conducted in English, and all students undergo 500 hours of English training during the foundation semester.

Students will receive the following certificates upon completion of the program:
1. International Diploma HND Level 5
2. English Language Certificate
3. Passport to Success Life Skills Certificate provided by the International Youth Foundation
4. Build your Business Certificate provided by Microsoft and the International Youth Foundation
5. International Computer Driving License (ICDL) certificate
