This season, we set off to discover the next wave of Syrian and Jordanian entrepreneurs to equip them with the skills to become successful business owners. The Jusoor Small Business Program is a partnership with World Vision and Youth Resolve that consists of workshops, business mentorship, and funding with seasoned professionals for you to turn your Ideas into a business.
Youth RESOLVE is a regional consortium funded by the EU MADAD Trust fund and operates in three countries: Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon. In Jordan, the program is implemented through three partners: Generations for Peace, Questscope and World Vision, and focuses on Livelihood, Education and Social Cohesion.
Through the livelihood component, World Vision Jordan is aiming to empower Jordanian and Syrian youth (18-25 years old) with the required skills to assist them in finding decent job opportunities and help the Private sector in their search for qualified employees.
The Jusoor Small Business Program consists of a 5-day long workshop & 10-weeks of business mentorship, concluding with a Demo Day to select the top winning projects. The program includes training and mentorship sessions with seasoned professionals from international and regional business building programs.
